Today is the first day of winter. It is also the winter solstice. (and some holiday according to Seinfeld) You know, today marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. Lotsa swings today
After laundry and transferring files from the desktop to the netbook, mom and I stepped into the garage with Trainer Steve and we did a lOT of swings..
The workout was loosely based on a workout posted by Tracy Rifkin - and let me tell you it was quite the challenge.. 12kg, 16kg, 20kg kettlebells for me to swing - one handed/two handed …it had been a while since I had done so many...

nothing like an early afternoon workout
especially after taking the ride up to Rhode Island to Perform Better..
Alas, my 14kg kettlebell isnt in yet, but no fear, I have my new 12 & 16kg punch kettlebells to play with.
Flow drill today with my Dragon Door 12kg, lots hand to hand swings and TGUs with some snatches and cleans and presses…. Awesome stuff!

I am so excited to be able to call myself an HKC. It has been a long road for me, but I have made it.
I just wanted to say thank you to Brad Nelson, Senior RKC, for his support when I was in Minneapolis at the September HKC,and for his referral to Mandla Nkosi, RKC II and Z-Health specialist in Boston.
